Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take digital x-rays, for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal (between the teeth) decay of back teeth.
Dental Implants
CAT-Scan Guided implant diagnosis and implant placement for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or to replace a removable appliance. Bone regeneration and grafting procedures preserve the supporting bone and improve implant stability.
Invisalign Orthodontics and Traditional Braces
Invisalign is the new standard for orthodontic movement of teeth to beautify your smile and improve your bite. A series of custom-made, clear trays, replaced evey 2 weeks, allow for gentle and invisible straightening of the teeth. For more difficult cases, we still use brackets and wires if necessary.
Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office ZOOM ! Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than an hour. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for great results in about 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.
Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns on the front teeth. For the back, in most instances, we use porcelain fused to metal. Porcelain Veneers are conservative and allow the teeth and smile to look fantastic!
Fillings: Resin
Tooth-colored filings that are light cured to bond to and match your teeth. Composite resin fillings have been in use for over 30 years in dentistry and have proven to look beautiful and remain strong. We do not (and never will) use Amalgam as a filling material in this office.
Root Canals
We perform root canals on all teeth, except 3rd molars. Our method is fast and usually painless, often taking a single visit to complete. We utilize a network of outside specialists for certain, complex situations.
Periodontal Treatment
Healthy adults and children should have a standard cleaning (prophylaxis) at least twice a year. If you have ever had gum disease, you will probably require cleanings more often. Periodontal (gum) treatment includes thorough education about the bacterial source of the disease and patient hygiene responsibilities. Treatments may include Root Planning and Scaling (usually requires anesthetic).
Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards using reinforced acrylic materials.
Removable Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you. We use the newest Flexible Partial Dentures (no metal clasps), which are the most esthetic option.
TMD (TMJ Therapy)
For patients who suffer from headaches, facial pain, popping & clicking sounds or other facial, neck or upper body pains. We use a simple, non-surgical method to reduce and eliminate these symptoms.
